Day – 01 ARRIVE PORT BLAIR – CELLULAR JAIL + CORBYN’S COVE BEACH + LIGHT & SOUND SHOW
Welcome to Port Blair , on arrival in Port Blair, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist in transferring you to your hotel for relaxation and refreshment. After a satisfying lunch, your itinerary for the day includes a visit to the following destinations:
Cellular Jail: Commence your exploration with a visit to the historic Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani. This colonial-era prison played a significant role in India’s struggle for independence. Explore the poignant history of the freedom fighters incarcerated here through informative exhibits and displays. A guided tour will provide insights into the hardships endured by the prisoners, offering a deeper understanding of India’s struggle for independence.
Corbyn’s Cove Beach: Following your visit to Cellular Jail, proceed to Corbyn’s Cove Beach, a picturesque destination renowned for its serene ambiance and tranquil waters. Delight in the soft sandy beach, take a leisurely stroll along the shore, or simply relax under the shade of swaying palm trees. For the more adventurous, partake in water sports activities like jet skiing or banana boat rides.
Light & Sound Show: In the evening, immerse yourself in the mesmerizing Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail. This captivating show narrates the history of the Indian freedom struggle, emphasizing the sacrifices and struggles of the imprisoned freedom fighters. The combination of dramatic lighting and powerful narration creates an unforgettable experience, bringing history to life.
Note:- In the event of the cancellation of the Light and Sound show at Cellular Jail due to weather or maintenance issues, we will arrange for alternate sightseeing options and reschedule the show if possible. Rest assured, our team will keep you informed and strive to find suitable alternatives for your enjoyment.
Day – 02 Port Blair – Ross Island and North Bay Island
After breakfast, you will be escorted to the Andaman Water Sports Complex to catch a ferry that will accompany you on the entire tour to Ross Island and North Bay.
Ross Island: A must-visit destination in Port Blair, Ross Island is accessible by a 10-minute boat ride. It served as the capital of Port Blair during the British regime and now stands as a historical site with ruins of old buildings, including the Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, and more, all in a dilapidated condition. Visitors can enjoy a nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings and spot deer, peacocks, exotic birds, and other wildlife. Ross Island is an ideal destination for history enthusiasts and nature lovers seeking to explore the island’s rich cultural and ecological heritage.
North Bay: After visiting Ross Island, we proceed to North Bay Island for a joyful trip. This island is famous for its exotic coral, colorful fishes, and underwater marine life. Visitors can view these natural wonders through multiple optional underwater activities, including glass-bottom boat rides, scuba diving, and sea walks, which are available on a direct payment basis. North Bay Island is an ideal destination for adventure seekers and nature lovers looking to explore the island’s rich marine ecosystem.
Day – 03 Port Blair – Havelock (Day Trip) – Port Blair
your day with an early departure by Govt. ferry or Private Cruise to Havelock Island, situated 38 kilometers from Port Blair and requiring approximately 2 and a half hours by sea. Upon reaching Havelock Island, our representative will warmly welcome you and guide you to Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7. This beach stands out as the gem of Havelock Island, located on its western side. Achieving global recognition, Time magazine hailed it as the best beach in Asia in 2004. The beach boasts an extensive stretch of white sand spanning several kilometers, offering a perfect setting for activities like swimming, sea bathing, and sunbathing. You can explore the nearby cafes and restaurants, indulging in local cuisine and refreshing drinks. In the evening, you’ll depart from Havelock Island and return to Port Blair. Be sure to check the ferry/cruise schedules to avoid any delays, and capture the breathtaking scenery while cherishing the memories of this beautiful island!
Day – 04 PORT BLAIR – JOLLY BUOY ISLAND
Start your day with breakfast, then head to Wandoor Beach for a ferry to Jolly Buoy. Note the no-plastic zone policy and submit plastic items before boarding. The 40-minute boat ride offers white sand beaches, vibrant marine life, corals, and seagrass beds. Explore the shallow shores, ideal for couples. Return to Port Blair in the evening, and opt for a Glass Bottom boat ride for a unique marine life experience. Enjoy Jolly Buoy until 2:00 pm, followed by the return journey. Spend the night in Port Blair.
Day – 05 DROP TO AIRPORT
After enjoying breakfast, it will be time to check out from your hotel. Our team will then escort you to the airport, so you can return home with wonderful memories of your Kutumb Holiday to cherish
